Is it as simple as changing the engines and I have to change the transmission? Do you need to get an additional product?

  1. First, you do not have a V6, a line (I6) (probably a 200 cubic inch). You may have to a C4 transmission (when) a car manual) or a 3 speed Saginaw (.

A Ford V8 Small Block (262, 302, 351W) is in the trans-Locked-C4. They have different motor mounts, maybe a different cooler (see highs and lower positions coonection hose) and escape.

Its is possible to have an automatic tranny C3, in which case it should be changed to a C4, and change the front bar and the drive shaft.

  2. Try a 78 T-Bird or Monarch V8 with 302 to be found. Everything you need to be there. If you have another gear.
